Submitter functions within the workflow will be limited. Submitters need to know where to view and post communications and where to view details for active requests.
Initiating a Certification Request
All certification requests within EL-CID Online will be submitted by an agency representative.
To initiate a certification request, log in to the Workflow, and locate the Start New Request widget in the lower left hand corner of the main dashboard, and click the button.
When the Initiate Process dialogue box opens, input the process name and a description. Indicate whether the request is urgent or secure. By default, the Open Work Item as soon as initiated check box is selected, so that when the user clicks the button, the task form will open.
Follow the instructions in the task form to create a new application records. Use the documents link to upload files and ensure the certification files, including the cover letter, are attached to the request.
When finished uploading documents and making comments in the Internal Discussion Panel, click the button to submit the certification request to NTIA.
This help content is applicable to both agency submitters and agency representatives. The help menu uses the term "submitters" to refer to both submitters and representatives.
